Lee Zii Jia delivered a stunning performance at the Paris Olympics, defeating fourth seed Anders Antonsen to advance to the men’s singles semi-finals for the first time in his Olympic career.
The world No. 7, Zii Jia, showcased his skills and determination, beating world No. 3 Antonsen with a score of 21-17, 21-15 in the quarter-finals.

Up next, Zii Jia will face reigning world champion Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand in the semi-finals on Sunday.

Kunlavut made headlines by easily defeating top seed Shi Yu Qi of China 21-12, 21-10 in his quarter-final match.
India’s Lakshya Sen also secured a spot in the semi-finals after a hard-fought win over Taiwan’s Chou Tien Chen, finishing 19-21, 21-15, 21-12.

Sen will compete against either reigning Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen of Denmark in the last four.
