A man who squared up to another man at the parking lot of a mall in KL came face-to-face with potential danger after the latter threatened to assault him in broad daylight.
The incident was captured on camera and subsequently shared on X (formerly Twitter), where it has since garnered over 200,000 views.
Saw man cursing at his own kids
In the thread shared by Megat Firdauz on Sunday (Jul 21), he wrote that the incident took place on Jul 19 at KL Gateway, where he saw a man yelling profanities such as “f***ing c***s” at his own children.
Afraid that the man might hit the children, Megat simply looked at him, prompting an angry “Do you have a problem with me?”

As Megat tried to calm the man down, his girlfriend began filming on her handphone, which only caused the latter to become angrier.
Lawyer threatens M’sian man, says he will ‘f*** him up’
In the video which was posted in the thread, Megat is seen telling the man to return to his car, who then responds with “You don’t tell me what to do! F*** you b***h!”
He also told Megat that he was “very close to hitting” him and asked him how old he was. He also claimed to be a lawyer when Megat suggested that they go to the police station together.
As the yelling and obscenities continued, the man allegedly placed a hand on Megat and threatened to “f*** him up”, prompting Megat to tell him to back off.

At this point, the man was filled with uncontrollable anger and balled his fists and shook it right in Megat’s face while warning him not to push his luck any further.
A woman with a foreign accent, believed to be the man’s wife, could be heard telling him to back off in an attempted to defuse the situation.
Seeing that it was near impossible to calm the man down, Megat retreated back to his car while being called a “f***ing kid” by the man.

Police tracking man down
Brickfields police chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood later confirmed that a report was lodged over the incident and that police are currently looking for the man.
“We are looking for him and will call him to record his statement,” he told FMT.

I'm here to talk about what happened two nights ago (19 July) at KL Gateway. A man threatened to beat me up and grabbed my hand because I looked at him when he was cursing at his kids, who looked nothing more than 5-7 years old.
