The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has declared a dividend payout of 5.50% for the conventional account, and 5.40% for the Syariah account.
EPF Dividend Rate for 2023 is 5.50%
This figure is an increase from last year’s dividend payout of 5.35%. In 2021, the dividend rate was 6.1%.
Ahmad Zulqarnian, the Chief Executive Officer of the EPF, shared insights into the fund’s performance amidst a year fraught with market volatility.
Despite the less than favorable conditions both locally and globally, the EPF has seen its assets under management (AUM) surge, now estimated at RM1.136 trillion.
This increase is attributed to a higher rate of member contributions, showcasing the fund’s resilience and strategic management in navigating the complexities of the financial landscape.
