Popular influencer and entrepreneur Khairulaming recently shared a major milestone for his business—his product sales hit RM42 million in 2024, marking a 110% increase from RM20 million in 2023.
He announced the news in a social media post on Tuesday night (Mar. 19), expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support.
Khairulaming revealed that a huge part of this growth came from leveraging live streaming as a sales strategy.
“Two years ago, I noticed the e-commerce market shifting towards live streaming because it allows for stronger engagement with customers. 70% of our RM42 million sales came from live streams,” he said.
Production scaled up
“In the past, we could only produce 1,000 to 3,000 jars of Sambal Nyet daily, which wasn’t enough to meet demand. Products would sell out quickly, but sales were limited by our production capacity.
“So for Dendeng Nyet, we changed our approach from day one—ramping up production to ensure customers could purchase without hassle,” he explained.
With demand soaring, Khairulaming is set to open his third factory in Kelantan this year to further expand his business.
He ended his post by thanking his supporters and expressing hope that his business will continue to grow in the coming years.
