Everyone has their own list of hobbies and though it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, mutual respect should still be shown nonetheless.
A woman was left questioning a budding romance she had with a man she met not too long ago after he allegedly make disparaging remarks about her love for attending K-pop concerts.
Expressed dislike for her hobbies
According to mStar, the woman said she met the man not a long time ago and found that he was passionate about cars and motorcycles.
She added that he recently attended a motorcycle gathering event, where enthusiasts of the popular Yamaha RXZ motorcycle would gather from all across the country.
“When he asked me what were my interests, I told him I liked K-pop, anime and going to concerts. But his response really disappointed me,” she said.
She alleged that her boyfriend reacted negatively to her love for attending concerts by claiming it involved mixing freely with those of the opposite gender.
“He said my interests involve ‘living things’ and claimed his interests were alright because motorcycles and cars aren’t ‘living things’.
“We had a huge argument and he said I might meet another man while attending concerts. When he went to the RXZ event, didn’t he meet other women too?”
‘No wonder you’re still single’
Given her boyfriend’s response, the woman is now wondering what was the cause for him to still remain single to this day.
“No wonder he’s single. He’s already 40 years old but immature,” she quipped.
Her story drew various reactions from netizens, with a handful saying that her boyfriend was a walking exhibit of a ‘red flag’.
They also told her to ditch him at the soonest moment possible and find someone who truly respected her personal interests.
