The figures remained unofficial as vote counting was still ongoing.

BN leaders reportedly ahead

According to live counting data recorded at around 7.05 pm, several prominent BN candidates were reportedly maintaining their leads.

Incumbent Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi was said to be leading comfortably in the N26 Machap seat, securing 93.85% of the votes counted at the time.

MCA candidates Ling Tian Soon and Lee Ting Han were also reportedly ahead in N19 Yong Peng and N30 Paloh respectively.

BN had entered the election as the frontrunner after governing Johor since 2022.

BN ahead in several PH-held seats

The report also stated that BN candidates were leading in several seats previously held by Pakatan Harapan.

These included N2 Jementah, N10 Tangkak and N12 Bentayan.

Meanwhile, PH was reportedly maintaining its lead in traditional strongholds such as N48 Skudai and N52 Senai.

Earlier unofficial results also showed BN taking an early advantage across several DAP contested constituencies.

As vote counting remained at an early stage in several areas, the figures were subject to change pending the official results from the Election Commission.
