# “Is It Dead Or Just Vibing?”– M’sians Crack Up Over Monitor Lizard Chilling In The Mud

##### What do you call a monitor lizard lounging flat on its back in a muddy paddy field? Apparently, TikTok calls it “biawak healing.”

A video posted on [TikTok](https://www.tiktok.com/@apithafiz3835/video/7438543039720623368?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7440785133035423240) has left Malaysians in stitches after capturing a monitor lizard in what looks like the most dramatic spa day ever.

The reptile, sprawled out in the mud like it’s living its best life, has sparked endless jokes and comments online.

From its sheer size to its laid-back pose, the lizard has everyone wondering if it’s alive or just *feeling the zen*.

Some commenters hilariously speculated it was indulging in a “mud bath to exfoliate its scales,” while others joked it might be trying to channel “beach vibes” in the middle of a kampung.
