Malaysia’s athletes heading to the Paris Olympics might get a fresh new look.
The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) is partnering with Yonex to design exclusive new outfits for the event.
This decision comes after the recently unveiled official jersey received heavy criticism.

Last Sunday, during an Olympic Day celebration at The TRX Exchange, the gold-themed outfits with tiger stripes were revealed.
They were meant to symbolize Malaysia’s pursuit of gold medals. However, many fans found the designs “ugly,” “cheap-looking,” and outdated.
Improved version in the making?
According to NST, a source said that OCM and Yonex are now working together to create special attire for the Malaysian athletes.
However, coaches and support staff will still wear the current, much-debated attire.
