A heartbreaking sight of a cat struggling to walk due to suspected fractured hind legs has prompted netizens to seek help from kind-hearted individuals.
The post, which has been circulating on Facebook, reported that the injured cat was seen in the Kuchai Lama area of Kuala Lumpur, near Kuchai Pondok Polis with the poster asking if anyone could come to its aid.
Fractured hind legs
A video attached to the post shows an orange cat with its hind legs appearing fractured, forcing it to rely solely on its front legs for movement.
Its hind legs were seen dragging behind, splayed outward, making it difficult for the cat to move.
The orange cat’s fur appeared dirty and faded, suggesting it might be malnourished.
Called to check and rescue the cat
Following the post, the cat lovers’ group “Dunia Kucing Malaysia” shared the plea, stating that they had called the nearby police station for assistance.
However, they were unable to get through and are unsure if anyone has managed to rescue the cat.
The group urged animal lovers in the vicinity to check on the cat and update them on its condition.
