What was meant to be an enjoyable camping trip quickly turned into chaos after a man attempted to operate a portable gas stove, leading to a sudden explosion that left everyone in shock.
The incident, captured in a video uploaded by TikTok user @manusiatantrum_29, shows a group of young campers enjoying their time outdoors when the portable gas stove unexpectedly explodes.
Explodes out of no where
In the video, a woman is seen setting up the camera to record their camping meal, while one of the men is setting up the portable stove.
Suddenly, the stove explodes with a lot of white smoke, and the man managing the stove appears to hurt his hand, turning his back to the camera.
The explosion caused panic among the group, with food and drinks scattered across the campsite, and the man at the center of the incident standing motionless as the chaos unfolded.
The accident took place in the Wilis Mountains of Indonesia, although the exact time of the incident remains unclear.

Others offered technical explanations, pointing out that the issue may have arisen from improper use of the stove.
“The mistake was that the stove’s burner wasn’t flipped. For a square portable stove, if the burner isn’t flipped, the gas will get trapped because it’s forced (tight when locking the gas), which causes the gas to accumulate.”
