Thanks to her heroic and timely actions, the man was eventually revived and was rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital before being transferred to Timberland Medical Centre for an emergency coronary angioplasty to treat two fully blocked arteries.
Woman recounts heart attack event
In a Facebook post by Dr. Tang Sie Hing, who treated the 55-year-old man surnamed Law, he wrote he spent a total of 10 days looking for the woman as Law’s family wanted to personally thank her.
Fortunately, he was able to locate and confirm that she was indeed the person who saved Law’s life, adding she was a staff at Timberland Medical Centre.

According to the woman, she was on the same flight as Law from Sibu to Kuching when she saw him collapse at the airport. Along with a male doctor and other allied health professionals, she and them took turns to perform CPR on Law.
Aside from CPR, the group also delivered three shocks on Law using the automated external defibrillator (AED) before medical personnel arrived at the scene and took him to the hospital.
Wishes to stay anonymous
Despite her swift act going viral online, the woman requested Tang not to disclose her identity as she wanted to stay anonymous.
“She declines any form of recognition or gratitude, she wishes to remain anonymous. I respect her wishes. I hope this ends the journey of looking for this awesome lady,” he wrote.

The post has since garnered over 4,000 likes, with many commending the woman for her quick actions in saving Law’s life and humility.
