A helicopter carrying a pilot and five health officials has reportedly crashed in Brinchang, Cameron Highlands.

The accident occurred at around 1.15pm, where the helicopter had departed from Sultan Azlan Shah Airport to Brinchang, reported NST.

Only minor injuries
The Pahang Fire and Rescue Department posted an update in a Facebook post, where it stated that four passengers and the pilot suffered light injuries, while one had a broken pelvis.
All of them received treatment at the crash site before they were taken to a safe area.

The rescue operation is still ongoing.
