Throughout their marriage, the couple share two children named Shay and Kayleigh together.

## Storied political career

Yeoh has long had a remarkable and accomplished political career, where she made history by being the first female speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly from 2013 to 2018.

In 2018, she was appointed Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development during Pakatan Harapan's (PH) short-lived administration, but found herself in the Cabinet again as Youth and Sports minister in 2022 when PH took power again.

Yeoh was later appointed as Federal Territories minister following a Cabinet shuffle in 2025.
