Still remember the German cyclist who tried to cycle from Singapore to Alaska via the Penang Bridge?
If you have no clue what we’re talking about, check out our coverage about this man here:
After the incident, the cyclist, whose real name is Luca Montoya, continued his journey down south, where he recently experienced a heartwarming gesture in Muar, Johor.
Was looking for food in Muar
In a 25-second TikTok clip uploaded two weeks ago, Luca said he was resting at a petrol station in Muar when he became hungry and wanted some food.
He then asked a woman whether he could find food nearby, to which she replied, “Not here actually.”
After answering Luca’s question, the woman promptly left, leaving the cyclist to wonder how he was going to fill his stomach.
Woman comes back with lunch
To Luca’s surprise, the woman eventually returned 10 minutes later, and she didn’t come empty-handed.
Turns out she actually bought a packet of chicken rice specially for Luca so that he didn’t have to go hungry.
This inevitably brought the German cyclist to tears, who was deeply touched by the woman’s kindness.
This happened on my 3rd day (of) cycling in Malaysia. Something like that never happened before to me,” he wrote in the caption.
