A Bangladeshi national who tried to escape from officers of the Immigration Department found himself in a bit of a pickle after his body got stuck at a bathroom window.
According to Harian Metro, the incident took place during a raid conducted at a flat in Kampung Nisan Empat in Kuala Terengganu on Friday (Oct 26).

The Bangladeshi man, who was in his 40s, was among 35 individuals renting the flat and working at various construction sites in Marang and Kuala Nerus.
In a photo provided by the Terengganu Immigration Department, it showed the man having half of his body sticking out from the toilet window while one of his feet dangles mid-air.
As a result of his failed escape attempt, officers had to use a ladder to free him from the toilet window.
Terengganu Immigration Department deputy director (Control) Mat Amin Hassan told the Malay daily that officers had blocked all exits, including emergency staircase and elevators, to stop the foreigners from fleeing.
“A total of 218 foreigners, including two teenagers aged 15 and 16, were screened. 35 of them were detained for various offenses, including lacking valid travel documents, and sent to the Ajil Immigration Depot.
“Notices were also issued to two locals to assist in investigations under Section 6(1) (c) of the Immigration Act for failing to produce valid travel documents and Section 15 (1) (c) for overstaying.
“The Immigration Department will take action against anyone found to employ and shelter undocumented migrants,” he said.
