A search and rescue operation is currently in full swing after a 48-year-old woman fell into a sinkhole along Jalan Masjid India earlier today (Aug. 23).
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at around 8am, prompting them to spring into action, according to Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia.

Operations commander Mohd Riduan Akhyar confirmed that 15 personnel, along with two fire engines and two rapid intervention motorcycles, were quickly dispatched from the Hang Tuah and Titiwangsa Fire Stations.
