A woman took to social media to rant about a rider’s lack of hygiene and responsibility in handling her order by placing it at an area meant for disposing rubbish.
The post has since gone viral, garnering over 25,000 likes and close to 3,000 comments at the time of writing.
Found order at rubbish disposal area
In the Threads post, the OP wrote that she and her husband ordered food for themselves after getting home from work as they were famished.
She also said that she had instructed the rider to put her order on top of the pillar.

After freshening up and performing prayers, the OP was told by her husband that he heard a motorcycle approaching their home but not a single honk or call was made.
She then went out to check whether the order had arrived and found nothing on top of the pillar.
Upon checking her phone, she was shocked and angered to find out that the rider had actually delivered the order but placed it at the rubbish disposal area.

Blame game
When the OP’s husband called the rider and angrily confronted him for placing the order at such a filthy area, the rider blamed him for not coming out to receive the order.
To make matters worse, the rider later called the OP for the second time and told her that the food was safe to eat as it was wrapped inside a plastic bag.
“I immediately raised my voice and demanded to know why he had to leave the food at the rubbish disposal area. If he couldn’t leave it on top of the pillar, why didn’t he leave a message or give a call?
“Instead of answering my question, he hung up on me.”

The incident left the OP feeling humiliated and angry, with her describing it as the “lowest point in life” for her and her husband as they were “treated like stray dogs”.
Needless to say, netizens were disgusted by the rider’s actions and called him out for it.


The delivery platform later apologised for the incident in the comment section and said a full refund was given to the OP.
However, it’s not known whether the rider will face penalties for his actions.
