Early in the morning of Friday, March 31, 2023, two houses in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur caught fire, according to China Press.
Many nearby residents captured the incident on camera and shared videos and pictures of the fire on social media.

According to Commander of the Operation, PPgB Ahmad Danial bin Ahmad Kamal, the fire engulfed two houselots of type C.
A woman of Chinese nationality was injured in the incident, sustaining 5% burns on her face. She was immediately transported to Hospital Kuala Lumpur for medical attention.
Firefighters from three different stations – BBP Setapak, BBP Gombak Selatan, and BBP Jalan Hang Tuah – responded to the emergency with a total of 30 personnel and four vehicles.
Firefighters used both offensive and defensive strategies to extinguish the fire, and the fire was brought under control at 1:08am. The cause of the fire and the amount of loss are still being confirmed.”
