A shocking incident unfolded in Kuantan this morning after a Filipino maid allegedly attacked her female employer and her son with a knife, leaving both injured and latter’s finger severed.
According to China Press, the incident took place at around 8.40am today inside a terraced house in KotaSAS Royal Town, Kuantan.
Worker believed to have been under pressure
According to preliminary investigations, the domestic worker was believed to have been under immense pressure before the confrontation occurred.
She was quickly detained by police following the attack.
The victims, a 57-year-old woman and her 28-year-old son, were reportedly slashed during the incident. The son is said to have lost a finger in the struggle.
Police have since cordoned off the home as part of ongoing investigations.
Security guard first to arrive at scene
Speaking to WeirdKaya, a reader who resided near the victim’s home said the maid attacked her employer with a cleaver, and allegedly the male owner was also injured.
The homeowner quickly alerted the authorities and also sought help in a WhatsApp group, where the first person to arrive at the scene was the security guard.
There was blood all over the house, but the victims did not appear to be fatally injured.”
The reader also shared a video showing the male victim standing inside the house covered in blood and blood stains all over the floor.
