The family of a Malaysian man who tragically lost his life in a road accident in Singapore is pleading for the safe return of his mobile phone.
The victim was identified as 33-year-old Muhammad Isma Azwa Md Salleh, who worked as a hydrographic surveyor and moved from Kelantan to Johor Bahru in order to travel to Singapore daily for work, reported The New Paper.

Aside from holding a job in Singapore, Muhammad Isma was also happily married for seven years and had his firstborn son eight months ago.
However, no one expected the family’s joy to be cut short with his sudden passing on Tuesday (Nov 5).

Speaking to Sinar Harian, Muhammad Isma’s sister-in-law, Nurshahirah Nadiah Mohammad Azan, said the accident took place when he was on his way to work near Changi Beach Park at around 8am.
“While he was riding on a straight road, he was hit by a car that was attempting to make a turn. The hospital later confirmed that the cause of death was internal bleeding due to the collision,” she said.

Family begs for his phone to be returned
Nurshahirah Nadiah added that a day before his death, Muhammad Isma had left a message for his wife mentioning that he had listed some matters related to nazar (vows) and important information in his phone.
However, when the family went looking for the phone at the scene of the accident, it was nowhere to be found.
As such, Muhammad Isma’s family is offering a cash reward to anyone who returns the phone after taking it by mistake.
We plead for its return because that is the only memory we have of him. We won’t be angry with anyone who took it unintentionally, and it can be returned by contacting me (013-969 6212) or his wife (019-7665773).

“We are willing to offer a cash reward if the person needs the money. Please have mercy on his family,” she said.
Nurshahirah Nadiah also revealed that Muhammad Isma’s wife still goes to the hospital frequently for follow-up treatment due to complications during childbirth as a 9-centimeter catheter was left in the spinal area during surgery.
We hope the family recovers the phone soon and may the victim rest in peace.
