Ex-DAP MP Claims Car Belonging To BN’s Skudai Candidate Was Parked Outside Polling Station With Campaign Stickers

The vehicle was alleged to belong to Nicole, who is contesting the Skudai state seat under the BN banner.
Former DAP MP Kasthuri Patto has called for action after alleging that a vehicle linked to Barisan Nasional’s Skudai candidate was parked outside a polling station while displaying campaign materials.

Kasthuri claimed that the vehicle belonged to BN candidate Nicole Tan Hiang Kee and was seen outside Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Tun Aminah on polling day.

Car allegedly displayed campaign stickers

According to Kasthuri, the vehicle was displaying campaign related stickers while parked in front of the polling centre.

She shared an image of the vehicle and alleged that its presence outside the school amounted to an election offence.

This is an election offence. Please take action,” she said in a Facebook post.

Kasthuri, who previously served as the Batu Kawan MP, urged the Election Commission to look into the matter and take appropriate action.

Allegation has not been independently verified

The vehicle was alleged to belong to Nicole, who is contesting the Skudai state seat under the BN banner.

However, the allegation that the car belonged to Nicole and breached election regulations has not been independently verified.

At the time of writing, no official findings from the Election Commission regarding the allegation have been reported.
