When a couple divorces, there’s bound to be a trove of bittersweet memories that neither one of them is willing to look back on.
One woman wanted to erase those memories so much that she tried to wipe out all evidence of her wedding by asking for a refund from the wedding photographer.

Asks for refund for wedding photos
A South African professional photographer named Lance Romeo recently took to Twitter to share how a former client tried to get her money back for the wedding photos he took back in 2019.
At the start of the conversation, the woman told him that she had divorced her husband and said she didn’t need the photos anymore.
To Lance’s shock, she then proceeded to request for a refund for his services.

Not quite believing what he had just read, Lance asked the woman whether she was for real and said that photography was a “non-refundable service”.
Threatened legal action
Despite Lance’s explanation, the woman refused to budge and insisted that he failed to state so in the contract, thus giving her the right to demand a refund.
In response, Lance said it was ridiculous of her to ask a refund for an event that took place four years ago and reiterated that no refund will be given.

Upon seeing Lance’s reply, the woman angrily said that she would bringing legal action against him, to which he coolly replied, “I’m sure I’m being pranked. There’s no way.”
Although the woman tried to come up with a compromise by asking for only 70% of the amount she paid so that she could “move on and heal from everything”, Lance said no and told her to ask her lawyer to contact him.

Netizens amused
The post has since garnered 1.2K reactions and 2.2K shares on Facebook at the time of writing, where netizens were flabbergasted by the woman’s unreasonable demand.
Some joked by saying she should consider refunding her wedding guests or returning her children (if she had any) to God due to the short-lived marriage.

Another simply wrote: “That’s why her husband (is) divorcing her.”

What do you think of the woman’s request? Should she be given a refund?
