Cyberjaya Road Gets Dumped With Rubbish & Abandoned Cars, Sparks Safety Concerns

The cars were all neatly lined up along the road.
You’ve probably seen an abandoned car lying around your neighbourhood or taking up precious parking space. But have you ever seen an entire row of them lined up together?

A stretch of road in Cyberjaya has raised eyebrows after a video posted by TikTok user @bioqueen99 showed around eight cars left abandoned for an extended period and were all neatly lined up along the roadside.

The footage revealed that the vehicles were in poor condition — some with shattered windows, missing headlights, dusty license plates, and expired road tax.

Many of them were lifted off the ground with tools, seemingly to steal the tyres.

According to the video, the cars were surrounded by heaps of rubbish, with some people reportedly dumping unwanted furniture, cardboard boxes, and other items directly onto the street, creating a mess.

Netizens’ reaction

In the comments, one netizen wrote: ‘What’s strange is that the council doesn’t tow cars at these abandoned spots… but when we park for just a short while, they tow us immediately.”

Another commented, ‘Isn’t there a law for abandoned cars like this? In Malaysia, there are so many abandoned cars that they end up blocking parking spaces and roads.’

‘Foreign students buy these cars in cash. Once they finish their studies or their visa expires, they just leave them like that. In Cyberjaya, they’re scattered everywhere — it’s like an airport parking lot.’
