A dentist working at a hospital in Sabah has sparked public concern after posting a video revealing that the facility had been without water for three consecutive days.
Posting on her TikTok account @ongonghuathuat, the dentist uploaded a 16-second clip showing herself turning on the tap at the hospital sink — only for not a single drop of water to come out.
3 days with no water in hospital
Shaking her head in disbelief, she captioned the video: “The reality of working in Sabah.”
While some netizens commented that such water disruptions are “normal” in Sabah, the dentist strongly disagreed, saying this issue should never be normalised, especially in healthcare facilities where sanitation is critical.

In a follow-up video, she said water supply at the hospital had finally been restored, but the tap water was murky and unclear.
She also showed the situation at her home, where water from the tap was an even darker brown compared to the hospital — a sight that shocked viewers.
Netizens react
The videos quickly gained attention online, with many expressing disbelief that a medical institution could be left without water.

“Doing clinical work without water is really crazy 😭”
