China Tourist Receives RM20 From M’sian Lady To Buy Food At KLIA, Touched By Her Kindness

In a touching incident at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), a female tourist from China experienced the warmth and hospitality of Malaysia firsthand.

The tourist shared her story on RED (小红书), recounting how a kind-hearted Malaysian woman, fluent in Chinese, went out of her way to assist her.

The tourist, who was in transit through Kuala Lumpur, found herself in need of directions.

Fortunately, she met a Malaysian woman who not only understood her language but also engaged in a friendly conversation with her.

As they chatted, the tourist mentioned her hunger and inquired about using Alipay in Malaysia as she had no cash with her.

In a gesture of incredible kindness, the Malaysian woman gave her a RM20 note to buy some snacks upon separation.

Overwhelmed by this act of generosity, the tourist used the money to purchase a matcha latte from Starbucks and even had some change left over.

Her story shared online, received numerous comments from netizens, praising the good fortune of encountering such kindness.

Speaking to WeirdKaya, the tourist who originated from Guangzhou, China, said this was her first time in Malaysia. However, it was just a transit during her flight to Surabaya.

“I was so lost after getting out of the plane as the terminal was too huge. Thankfully, I met the Malaysian lady.”

Many Malaysians also commented, extending a warm welcome to the tourist to our country.

One claimed to have once received RM400 from a Malaysian man.
