A fight broke out at Perak Stadium after the first half of the match between Perak FC and Selangor FC in the Super League last night (20 May).
Several clips showed that the incident took place in the supporter’s seating area when a group of individuals believed to be supporters of the home team charged towards the Selangor supporters’ seating area.
However, the fight was successfully quelled by the security team on duty even though the video also showed the occurrence of punch-ups between both groups of supporters.

Police: 4 Arrested
According to Harian Metro, the police have confirmed that they have arrested four men involved in the fight.
Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Yahaya Hassan, said that a urine screening test found one of the four suspects, aged between 18 and 26 years old, who were detained, tested positive for THC (cannabis).
Yahaya said all of them are held for investigation under Section 147 of the Penal Code, which is rioting.
“All of these arrests will be brought to the Ipoh Magistrate’s Court today for a remand application,” he said in a statement today.
Furthermore, he said, the police also call on members of the public who witnessed the incident or have any information, including in the form of pictures or videos about the incident, to come forward and assist in the investigation.
“The public can contact the senior crime investigator officer, Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) Ipoh, Assistant Superintendent Chua Sze Yuan at 012-6195312 to help identify other supporters involved in the disturbance.
