# CCTV Captures Intruder Sneaking Into M’sian Family Home Before Motion Light Scares Him Off

##### They say timing is everything. And for one would-be intruder, his timing couldn’t have been worse.

Just as he tried sneaking into a dark corner of someone’s yard, a motion-activated light snapped on. At the same time, the homeowner’s camera started rolling.

It all began with what looked like a quiet night. In a TikTok video posted by user [@ruma.langitt](https://www.tiktok.com/@ruma.langitt/video/7499307906651786514?_t=ZS-8w2sy21GsGD&_r=1), CCTV footage shows a man lurking near a small gate of a home.

The surroundings were dim, the neighbourhood calm, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. That was until the figure slowly crept into frame.

But things changed in an instant. As the man drew closer, a bright motion-sensor light suddenly switched on and startled him mid-step.

Clearly not expecting to be seen, the intruder immediately turned and walked away without hesitation, abandoning whatever he had planned.

Fortunately, the home was equipped with not just the motion light but also a strategically placed CCTV camera that recorded everything.

According to the homeowner, the quick activation of the light and the clear footage made it easier to identify the suspect and file a report with the authorities.

To raise awareness about the benefits of home security tech, the homeowner decided to share the footage online.

The video quickly went viral and sparked discussions in the comments section about affordable ways to keep one’s home safe.

Many viewers praised the homeowner for the smart setup. Some even chimed in with their own experiences, saying that similar motion-triggered systems had helped them ward off suspicious individuals in the past.
