The surroundings were dim, the neighbourhood calm, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. That was until the figure slowly crept into frame.
But things changed in an instant. As the man drew closer, a bright motion-sensor light suddenly switched on and startled him mid-step.
Clearly not expecting to be seen, the intruder immediately turned and walked away without hesitation, abandoning whatever he had planned.
Fortunately, the home was equipped with not just the motion light but also a strategically placed CCTV camera that recorded everything.
According to the homeowner, the quick activation of the light and the clear footage made it easier to identify the suspect and file a report with the authorities.
