Flash flood in Kelantan
Over several days, Kelantan has been hit hard by flash floods caused by heavy rainfall, leaving entire neighborhoods submerged.
The disaster has forced mass evacuations and caused significant property damage.
While rescue operations for people are ongoing, videos like Azna’s have shone a light on the animals also affected by the disaster.
Netizens have applauded the efforts of those who ensured the safety of the cats, with many urging rescue operations to consider pets and strays during natural disasters.
“Hey, don’t fight, we’re all struggling together in this situation.”
“During the flood season, I worry more about pets; it’s heartbreaking to think about how they can protect themselves.”
“The saddest part is for stray cats and those locked in cages by their owners, who might not have enough time to save themselves.”
