CARiNG Pharmacy Launches “Empowering Women, Inspiring Wellness” Campaign To Encourage M’sian Women To Stay On Top Of Their Health

Empowering Women, Inspiring Wellness

For many women, health often takes a backseat while juggling work, family, and everything in between.

But what if taking care of yourself didn’t have to feel like a chore?

That’s exactly what CARiNG Pharmacy is hoping to change with its newly launched “Empowering Women, Inspiring Wellness” campaign.

Encouraging women to prioritise their health earlier, not later

Launched together with Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy, all under BIG CARING Group, this long-term initiative aims to help women take a more proactive approach to their health and wellbeing.

According to CARiNG Pharmacy, many women only seek help when something already feels wrong. And it’s not because they don’t care, but because they are constantly busy managing multiple responsibilities.

BIG CARING Group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Wong Siew Lai shared:

The reality is, most women are not ignoring their health because they don’t care, but simply because every day they are moving from one responsibility to another.

What we see is that many only take action when they’re already tired or worried.”

Through this campaign, CARiNG Pharmacy hopes to shift that mindset by making self-care more accessible, practical, and easier to fit into daily life.

A more holistic approach to women’s wellness

Instead of focusing on just one aspect of health, the campaign highlights a holistic approach that connects inner wellness, outer wellbeing, and mental health.

On the inside, this includes essentials such as vitamins and supplements, support for hormonal balance, as well as energy and immunity boosters. Bone health is also part of the focus, recognising how needs evolve across different life stages.

On the outside, the campaign covers areas like skin health, hair care, including concerns such as hair loss, and feminine hygiene and intimate care. The idea is simple – when your body feels good on the inside, it naturally reflects on the outside too.

Campaign launch puts women’s wellness in the spotlight

The “Empowering Women, Inspiring Wellness” campaign was officially launched at  CARiNG Pharmacy’s “Reset Your Me-Time” event, with a series of engaging activities that brought the message to life.

The launch began with an opening speech by BIG CARING Group’s Head of Product Marketing, Lim Chee Mun.

This was followed by a symbolic moment where guests coloured a batik artwork to mark the official launch, alongside the screening of the campaign’s official video.

One of the standout highlights was a runway showcase by DoubleWoot, where fashion was creatively paired with healthcare.

Models walked the runway in different outfits matched with healthcare products of various purposes, showing how wellness can be seamlessly integrated into everyday lifestyle choices.

The event was then elevated by a panel discussion, “Empowered Women, Healthier Future”, featuring Lim Chee Mun, Dr Amanda Elli, also known as Dr Unicorn, and Helen Tan, co-founder of DoubleWoot, where they shared insights on women’s health, confidence, and self-expression.

Some key takeaways would be that true confidence comes from taking care of your health consistently, not just on the outside.

While more women today are becoming proactive, many still delay seeking help due to busy lifestyles and overwhelming, sometimes unreliable information online, which is why trusted guidance from pharmacists and health platforms is so important.

Lim Chee Mun shared that CARiNG Pharmacy is always ready to support women with health screenings and advice whenever they feel unwell, encouraging early action.

Dr Amanda Elli added that many women prioritise others over themselves and only seek help when seriously ill, highlighting the importance of preventive care like hormonal checks, breast self-exams, HPV screenings, and Pap smears.

From a lifestyle perspective, Helen Tan added that as women age, stamina can decline, making simple habits like getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, and taking time to rest even more crucial, something that is now being normalised more by younger generations.

The panel also highlighted how stress, hormones, and confidence are closely linked, as poor rest and high stress can affect both physical health and self-confidence, ultimately impacting decision-making.

Ultimately, the panel emphasised that managing stress, understanding your body, and getting the right professional support empowers women to make better decisions, reminding them that taking time for themselves is not selfish, but necessary.

Backed by trusted health & beauty brands

To support women at different life stages, the campaign brings together a strong lineup of well-known brands such as Herbs of Gold, Lang Bragman, VitaHealth, Kinohimitsu, BiO-LiFE, PureMed, Curatica, Swissmed, Life Factor, Lennox, Boony & Co., and more.

Beauty and personal care brands like La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Cetaphil and Treecell are also part of the initiative, offering a more complete wellness ecosystem.

Dr. K.S. Beh, CEO of Herbs of Gold (Malaysia & Singapore), shared:

Herbs of Gold is honoured to collaborate with CARiNG Pharmacy for this meaningful women’s wellness initiative. Women today juggle multiple roles while being a strong pillar within the family, and their health should not be overlooked.

As an Australian supplement brand, we are proud to offer a wide range of health solutions designed to support women’s changing needs, backed by quality and research.”

The event wrapped up with a relaxing yoga session, bringing everything back to the idea of balance and self-care.

Making wellness part of everyday life

At its core, the campaign isn’t about dramatic lifestyle changes.

It’s about helping women take small, consistent steps towards better health, whether that’s choosing the right supplements, improving skincare habits, or simply carving out time to rest.

Because at the end of the day, taking care of yourself shouldn’t only happen when something goes wrong.
