According to VN Express, the event took place in Gia Lai Province on Jan 18, where the chairman personally thanked employees who stayed with the company for over 10 years.

Apartments and shares for 480 workers

Around 480 employees received different types of rewards.

Close to half were granted company shares through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), with the total value reaching 800 billion VND (about RM123 million).

Among them, 160 employees were gifted apartments priced between 2 billion and 8 billion VND (RM308,000 to RM1.23 million).

Located in new residential complex

The apartments are part of the Phu Dong High-rise Residential and Commercial Complex in Pleiku City, The Investor reports.

This 22-storey building mainly serves middle-income buyers, with market rates of 20 to 25 million VND per square meter.

5-year restriction on resale

To prevent workers from selling the apartments too quickly, HAGL has put in place a five-year no-resale rule.

This move aims to ensure long-term staff retention and encourage employees to grow together with the company.

A meaningful thank you

One worker shared that the gift wasn’t just about money; it was a sign that their hard work was finally recognised.

Despite common job-hopping trends in modern industries, this gesture by HAGL shows the power of staying loyal and being appreciated in return.
