Binance CEO wears batik during M’sia visit, makes Indonesian netizens unhappy with #MalaysiaBoleh hashtag

A debate that never seems to be resolved.

KUALA LUMPUR – Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of the cryptocurrency company Binance, recently visited Malaysia and posted a photo of him wearing a batik shirt on the day of his arrival on Twitter along with the hashtag #MalaysiaBoleh.

However, several Indonesian netizens were slightly offended by Zhao’s subtle attribution of the batik to Malaysia and fiercely retorted that the art belonged to them.
