Anwar Ibrahim: No, I’m Not Appointed As PM Yet

The race is still on.

PH chairman Anwar Ibrahim has dismissed claims that he has been appointed Prime Minister by the Agong as no formal decision has been made.

Speaking to reporters in a press conference after his meeting with the Agong, Anwar said that the Prime Minister position remains empty.

“For now, there is also “no question of forming a minority government,” he said as quoted by BFM News.

Meanwhile, BFM News also reported that the Agong has summoned all 30 Barisan Nasional (BN) MPs for a meeting tomorrow at 10.30am.

This is to allow His Majesty to decide which candidate has majority support from the MPs.
