Who is Ananda Krishnan?
Born on April 1, 1938, in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, Ananda is best known for being the third-wealthiest person in Malaysia with a net worth of US$5.1 billion in April of this year.
Aside from his wealth, he was also recognised for bringing satellite television to Malaysia by launching Astro and establishing the telecommunication company Maxis Communications.
