Malaysia Day is usually a time for Malaysians to come together and celebrate what makes the country special.
This year, AIA Malaysia is marking the occasion with music, shared experiences and a celebration of 10 years of AIA Vitality in Malaysia.
The AIA Generasi Malaysia 2026 Concert will bring Malaysians from different generations and backgrounds together, while recognising a decade of helping people build healthier habits and take a more active role in their wellbeing.
A Malaysia Day celebration across generations
Held in conjunction with Malaysia Day, the concert features a multi-generational line up of Malaysian artistes including Michael Wong, Ernie Zakri, 3P, Mimi Fly and K Town Clan.
With artistes representing different genres and audiences, the concert aims to reflect Malaysia’s diverse cultural identity while showing how music can bring people from different walks of life together.
Beyond the performances, the concert also marks 10 years since AIA Vitality began encouraging Malaysians to take a more active role in their health and wellbeing.
Over the past decade, many Malaysians have become more proactive about their health, placing greater emphasis on prevention, healthier habits and taking care of their wellbeing before problems arise.
According to AIA Malaysia, more than 416,000 Malaysians are now members of AIA Vitality.
Malaysians clocked 230 billion steps in one year
At the heart of AIA Vitality is a relatively simple idea: healthier living does not necessarily have to begin with a drastic lifestyle overhaul.

Instead, the programme encourages members to understand their health, make small improvements, and stay motivated by recognising their progress.
This includes health assessments and screenings, physical activity, nutrition, and other everyday wellness behaviours.
And over time, those small actions can add up in a big way.In 2025 alone, AIA Vitality members recorded a combined 230 billion steps, which is equivalent to walking around the Earth more than 4,500 times.
Members also earned more than RM18 million in rewards for making healthier choices throughout the year.
Health check data shared by AIA also showed improvements among participating members, with 49% recording improved blood pressure, 61% reaching healthier cholesterol levels, 79% improving their glucose levels and 43% improving their BMI.
For AIA Malaysia Chief Marketing Officer Chai Tze Siang, these figures reflect how small, consistent actions can have a meaningful impact over time.“Over the past decade, we’ve witnessed a meaningful shift in how Malaysians think about health and wellbeing,” he said.
He added that lasting health is often built through small and consistent actions that eventually become part of everyday life.
Wellbeing goes beyond physical health
As AIA Vitality marks its 10th year in Malaysia, AIA Malaysia is also shining a spotlight on a broader definition of wellbeing.

While staying active, going for health screenings and making healthier food choices remain important; wellbeing is more than physical health alone.
It is also shaped by our emotional wellbeing, the relationships we nurture, the communities we belong to, and the moments we share with the people around us.
That belief sits at the heart of the AIA Generasi Malaysia 2026 Concert.
For AIA, the event is more than a celebration of AIA Vitality’s 10-year milestone. It is an opportunity to bring Malaysians together through music, shared experiences and a sense of connection, values that play an important role in overall wellbeing.
Chai said the concert reflects the idea that wellbeing is not only influenced by physical health, but also by “the connections we build, the communities we belong to and the experiences we share”.
As Malaysians come together for Malaysia Day, the AIA Generasi Malaysia 2026 Concert will celebrate more than music. It will celebrate a decade of healthier habits, meaningful connections, and the collective spirit that brings communities together.
After all, living well is not just about taking care of ourselves. It is also about the moments, memories, and people that make life richer along the way.
