In a Facebook post uploaded by Istana Negara, the Agong is seen presenting a mock key to the OKU man named Mohd Khairi Othman and his family.
He was also seen chatting with the family as they checked the house out together.

According to the post, the house was donated to Mohd Khairi through the Yayasan Al-Sultan Abdullah (YASA) House Donation Program.
It has a total of three bedrooms and was built on stilts in order to accommodate to the needs of Mohd Khairi, who uses a wheelchair and is unable to use his hands and legs.

Describing the house as very “valuable and meaningful”, Mohd Khairi thanked the Agong for showing kindness and generosity to his family after they lost their home to floods.
