A 65-year-old man in Penang lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground while he having a go with the slot machine yesterday (Apr 14), where he later passed away.
An autopsy later revealed that a ruptured blood vessel in his heart was responsible for his demise.
Died in front of slot machine
According to China Press, the incident took place at a private club located in the Rifle Range area.
It was understood that at the time of the incident, the victim was alone in one of the rooms playing the slot machine when he suddenly collapsed and blacked out.

Staff at the scene immediately called for an ambulance to rush him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead when medical personnel arrived.
Ruptured blood vessel led to death
Northeast district police chief Superintendent Lee Swee Sake confirmed the case and said in a statement that the victim’s body was sent to the Penang General Hospital for an autopsy.

The autopsy later revealed that a blood vessel in the victim’s aorta had ruptured, which was the reason for his sudden passing.
The case was classified as sudden death (SDR) as police found no evidence of foul play at work.
