A 40-year-old Malaysian business owner has sparked discussion online after an anonymous confession shared on XUAN’s Facebook page detailed his long history of extramarital affairs.
In the post, the man openly admitted that he has never considered himself a faithful husband.
“I have always been very clear that I’m not a faithful man,” he wrote, adding that he has never lied to himself about it.
A pattern that never stopped
According to the confession, he has been involved in multiple inappropriate relationships over the past 20 years.
He claimed that whenever he was confronted or exposed, he would apologise and temporarily “return to where he was supposed to be”.
However, he acknowledged that this was only a pause, not a genuine change.
“Once time passed, new opportunities for flirtation and crossing boundaries would always appear again,” he said.
Five women, overlapping lives
In his post, he referred to the women as A, B, C, D and E.
Most of them were in their twenties and came from different backgrounds, including business partners, former teacher student connections, employer employee relationships, ex colleagues and even a colleague’s partner.
He admitted that he had crossed boundaries with all of them, with some of the relationships lasting four to five years.
What made the situation more “absurd”, in his words, was that these women often appeared at the same events due to business dealings.
They knew one another, chatted naturally and even took photos together. At times, his wife would also be present.
“On the surface, everything looks perfectly normal,” he wrote, adding that only he knew about the hidden past he shared with each of them.
‘Quiet satisfaction’ & lingering emptiness
The man described feeling a “quiet but real sense of satisfaction” when standing in the same space as the women, knowing the feelings they had for him.
He also shared that he is able to switch back into his role as a husband at home and fulfil his responsibilities.
While he expressed gratitude for his wife’s tolerance and wisdom, he admitted that it does not change who he is.
At the same time, he revealed that the satisfaction is accompanied by emptiness, as he cannot confide in anyone about what has happened.
I am writing this not to boast, nor to justify myself. I am simply admitting that those life episodes that seem absurd and straight out of a movie are, in fact, happening.”
