He did it, and it’s a rollercoaster of inspiration!

This dystonic cerebral palsy might sound like a heavyweight champion, but Amirul danced through its challenges, showcasing determination that’s nothing short of superhero material.

Dystonic cerebral palsy, characterized by abnormal posturing, tone irregularities, and involuntary movements, poses difficulties for individuals in controlling the movement of their hands, arms, feet, and legs, making tasks like sitting and walking challenging.

Looking back on his journey, he admitted that the mix of academic stress and dealing with his illness sometimes made him think about giving up.

But did that stop Amirul? Nope. This lad faced those challenges like a boss.

“Graduating has been a dream come true for me since secondary school. It wasn’t easy, especially during health challenges when I doubted finishing my studies, but Alhamdulillah, I did it,” Amirul recalls the moments when he almost threw in the towel.

University days were more than just hitting the books

Even with health setbacks causing three study delays, Amirul pushed through by spending more time with lecturers, joining group discussions, and getting creative with how he tackled coursework.

His university days weren’t just about classes; the friendships he built turned into cherished memories that kept him motivated.

Humble to the core, Amirul shrugs off the praise and points the spotlight at those who faced even tougher battles.

What’s next on Amirul’s agenda?

Amirul is determined to complete his chambering at a law firm in Sabah and is contemplating enrolling in a postgraduate program.

Well, life’s one epic ride, and Amirul is living proof that you can turn the bumps into victories.
