Imagine finding three buffaloes squeezed into the backseat of a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) abandoned by the roadside.
That’s exactly what happened in Kampung Bukit Serdang, Kuala Bera, early morning yesterday, according to New Straits Times.
District police chief Superintendent Zulkiflee Nazir reported that at around 3.20 am, a concerned villager spotted the suspiciously parked MPV and alerted the police, worried for his safety.

Upon inspection, they found three weak and seemingly sedated buffaloes crammed into the rear seat.
The authorities are now investigating why the vehicle and animals were abandoned and are on the lookout for the MPV owner.
It’s suspected that the buffaloes were stolen from Chenor, Maran, although no police report has been lodged by the owner yet.
