“Son, if you see this message, please give us a call. No matter what has happened, your family is waiting for you.”
This was the message a worried father had for his 21-year-old son who went off the radar for three months, leaving the family anxious for his safety.
What he last told the family
According to Huang Shigeng (transliteration), his son, Zhenliang, had graduated last October and was working in Cheras for a time.
On the seventh day of Chinese New Year this year, Huang said his son informed the family over a reunion meal that he would be going to Bangsar to look for work.

However, little did Huang know that it would be the final time he would hear from his son, who has since gone missing for the past three months, reported China Press.
Unsuccessful contact
Huang added he rarely sees his son as he works as a lorry driver in Seremban.
As such, he didn’t realise the gravity of the situation until he found himself unable to contact the 21-year-old.
“We’ve tried calling his phone many times. The line still goes through, but no one answers. We don’t know where he is now or whether he’s safe.
“A police report was lodged at the Jinjang Police Sation on May 19 after he failed to return home for weeks,” he added.

Huang also sought the help of Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng in hopes that his son will be found soon.
Those with information on the whereabouts of the 21-year-old are urged to contact Huang at 016-302 0588.
