M’sian man allegedly punches aunt to death over her “controlling” behaviour

Later, it was revealed by acting Perak police chief Deputy Commissioner Zulkafli Sariaat that the victim had been dead for four days before her body was found.

He also said that the suspect, the victim’s nephew, admitted to killing her out of frustration over her controlling behaviour.

The suspect lost his patience, which led him to punch the victim several times before she fell down the stairs. The victim is believed to have lost consciousness and was placed in a locked room.

“The victim’s sister went looking for her after four days and was told by the suspect that the victim had locked herself in the room.

“She then noticed a stench coming out from the room and lodged a police report, leading to the suspect’s arrest,” he said.

Urine tests found the suspect to test negative for drugs and had no prior criminal record. The case is now being probed under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
