In an unfortunate turn of events, what seemed like just another instance of open burning quickly escalated into a deadly accident in Kota Bharu, as two motorcyclists lost their lives after one allegedly swerved to avoid the thick smoke.
A footage shared by @update11111 revealed a concerning scene in Kota Bharu, where thick smoke from open burning enveloped a busy road.

Unfortunately, the poor visibility led to a heartbreaking accident.
Two motorcyclists, heading in opposite directions, collided head-on, unable to see each other through the smoke.
The collision was so severe that both riders, one aged 28 and the other aged 79, tragically lost their lives on the spot, according to Utusan Malaysia.
Both victims suffered critical head injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
