While it’s undoubtedly exasperating to wait excessively for a meal when dining out, resorting to violence is never justifiable.
Two men were recently caught on film assaulting workers from a restaurant in Sentul after they received their orders much later.

Fight caused by late order
Sentul district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari later revealed that the assault was caused by a late food order.
In a statement, he said the the two men used a broom to hit two workers when their order wasn’t made immediately at 6am last Friday (Aug 25), when the restaurant had just opened its doors.
“When a female staff told them that their order couldn’t be made on the spot, they became angry and swore at her.

“At 8.30am, one of the suspects returned to the restaurant with another individual, berated the workers, and trashed the place, resulting in losses worth RM12,000,” he said.
Ahmad Sukarno added police responded to a MERS 999 call and managed to nab the suspects at a stall nearby. A baton and helmet believed to have been used in the incident were seized as well.
One of the suspects was also revealed to have nine previous criminal records and that both men were drunk at the time.
They have since been remanded and the case is being probed under Sections 324 and 427 of the Penal Code.
