# M’sian Woman Finds Not 1, But 2 Cockroaches Inside Nasi Kicap

##### Most people look forward to a satisfying meal, but one Malaysian woman got an unexpected "bonus" when she found 2 cockroaches in her nasi kicap.

## Bought meal from roadside stall

TikTok user @[n.nadiaaaaaaa](https://www.tiktok.com/@n.nadiaaaaaaaaa/video/7479272377428315399) shared her shocking discovery in a now-viral post, where she had purchased a packet of *nasi kicap* with *ayam masak kicap* from a roadside stall near a residential area.

As she was eating, she noticed something unusual in her food. As it turned out, it was a pair of full-grown cockroaches drenched in soy sauce.

Instead of panicking, she kept her cool and even made light of the situation, where she joked in the caption: *'**Maybe the cockroach was dancing and accidentally fell into the wok.'***

## Stall owner replaced her meal

The incident, which took place during her first visit to the stall, left her understandably stunned. However, she decided to return the next day to confront the vendor.

**She told WeirdKaya that the stall owner replaced her meal with* murtabak* and a drink as compensation.**

Luckily, she managed to spot the unwanted "extra protein" before taking a bite. When asked if she suffered any health issues after the meal, she said:

> **No, because I didn’t get to eat it. I saw it just in time."
> **

Many TikTok users were horrified by the discovery, with some sharing their own unfortunate experiences with unwanted "extra protein" in their food.

Another joked about the possibility of legal action.

Meanwhile, one user was baffled by how the woman remained calm:*** "How can you stay so chill?"***
