An 18-year-old college student lost his life after he reportedly fell from a height at a condominium in Setapak on National Day (Aug 31).
Speaking to China Press about the tragedy, a Nepali security guard said he had opened the gate leading to the swimming pool at the request of two residents at around 7am before patrolling other areas.
About an hour later, the same residents informed him that a body had been discovered lying in the courtyard on the sixth floor.

The security guard also said the victim’s head was covered in blood and showed no signs of life, making it a harrowing sight to witness.
Had entered condo before demise
In a statement by Wangsa Maju police chief Annas Sulaiman, he said police were alerted of the incident at 8.50am.
He added that based on CCTV footage provided by the university which the victim attended, it showed him returning to the condo at 7.07am before plunging to his death from the 22nd floor.

The victim was confirmed dead at the scene and police have classified the case as sudden death as further investigations are being carried out.
