Taking a joyride is no doubt a fun thing to do, but doing so without a license is inevitably a recipe for disaster.
This was what one teenage girl found out after she was busted by police for not possessing a valid license to ride her motorbike and was forced to push it for several kilometres all the way to the police station.

According to MalaysiaGazette, the girl was nabbed by police during an Ops Samseng Jalanan operation by the Traffic Enforcement Investigation Department (JSPT) and the Road Transport Department (JPJ) in Pahang.
After getting caught, she was made to push her motorcycle for a grueling 4km from Tanjung Lumpur to the Kuantan traffic station, which caused one side of her slipper to completely come apart.
Speaking to the news portal, the teen said this was her first time getting into trouble with the law.

My friend and I just wanted to go out for a ride to Pantai Sepat, but I didn’t expect to get caught. Fortunately, the police helped in pushing my motorcycle.
“I’ve also registered for an L license and planned to sit for the computer test next month, but was unfortunate to be caught during the operation,” she said, adding that she was wrong for driving without a valid license.
The teenage girl was eventually slapped with three fines for not having a license, failing to install side mirrors on the motorcycle, and having a license plate that did not comply with the law.
155 summonses issued in total
Meanwhile, Pahang police chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman said a total of 79 motorcycles were seized, with 30 of them being brought to the police station.

He added a total of 155 summonses were issued, which involved 33 offenses for improper license plates, structural modifications, lack of side mirrors (29), not having a license (19), expired licenses (8), and other offenses.
“All the seized vehicles are being investigated under Section 64 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
“42 cases involving underage motorcycle riders aged between 13 to 17 were also detained between January and August 11,” he said.
