Achieving personal milestones at a young age is always a proud moment, and 16-year-old actress Qistina Raisah is proving that hard work truly pays off.
At just 16, Qistina has hit a major milestone ā purchasing her very first car, a Toyota Yaris, entirely with her own hard-earned money.
From Proton Exora to Toyota Yaris
In an Instagram post, Qistina shared the story of how her familyās Proton Exora, a manual transmission car, had been a cornerstone in their lives for the past decade.
Despite it being far from luxurious, she was never embarrassed by it.
āMy mum always said, āBaby, donāt be ashamed of riding in the Exora,ā and I never was. This car has been with me through thick and thin. Iāve made it this far with our Exora,ā Qistina wrote.
While not a luxury car, it represents years of hard work and saving on her part, making it all the more meaningful.
The young actress also expressed her gratitude to her parents for their unwavering support.
āAt 16 years old, Iām able to pay for my own car. Thank you, Abah, for making everything easier, and thank you, Ibu, for always supporting me,ā she wrote, ahead of her 17th birthday on 1 December.
Her parentsā encouragement clearly played a pivotal role in helping her achieve this dream.
