Sir Nik Ezanee bought Nor Faizal a new mobile phone worth RM300+ with his own money. This RM300 is his most meaningful money spent this year.

He said, the salary of RM50 might sound very little to most people, but it is very precious to Nor Faizal. I can feel his happiness and see the smile on his face when I passed him the mobile phone even though he was wearing a mask, he added.

Regarding why giving Nor Faizal a mobile phone instead of cash as an encouragement, Sir Nik Ezanee said the boy might not know how to use RM300 cash wisely. Still, teenagers nowadays mostly have a mobile phone. Therefore, he decided to give him a mobile phone for entertainment and look up information.

“This boy did not get stolen in the midnight because he did something bad or join Mat Rempit. He is looking over a burger stall to earn a living. I believe if he continues this positive life attitude, he will create himself a bright future.”

He claimed to have been sharing the concept of “One good deed a day” with his colleagues since he became the Police Chief of Petaling Jaya. Be it a big deal or small move, including helping an old lady cross the road and changing the tyre for a random person, it is all good deeds. By doing a good deed every day, a person can accumulate blessings and become more positive and kind-hearted.
