Accidents can sometimes happen in the most unexpected way possible, where it can either leave someone injured or in worst case scenarios, dead.
A 12-year-boy in Johor was killed in the most unusual way after an object which most would consider to be sturdy suddenly shattered — an aquarium.

Sin Chew Daily reported that this rather unusual incident took place in Bukit Gambir in the Tangkak district last Saturday (May 6).
According to a statement by Tangkak district deputy police chief Idris, police received a report about the incident when a man informed them that his son’s head and back were injured after the aquarium shattered out of nowhere, sending glass shards flying everywhere and cutting his son in the process.
Following the accident, the boy’s parents first rushed him to a nearby clinic before sending him to the Sultanah Fatimah Specialist Hospital in Muar via an ambulance.
Unfortunately, the boy succumbed to his wounds while on the way to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Idris added that the autopsy report which was done at around 10am yesterday revealed that the boy’s death was caused by a blunt object. Police have since classified the case as a sudden death report (SDR).
